Hellenic Armed Forces participate in the “DYNAMIC MANTA 22” Multinational Exercise

        From Monday 21 February to Friday 04 March 2022, the Hellenic Armed Forces participate in the multinational exercise “DYNAMIC MANTA 22”, which is conducted in the Central Mediterranean Sea, East of Sicily.

        The Exercise “DYNAMIC MANTA” is a LIVEX/MAREX/SUBEX (Live-Maritime-Submarine Exercise) type of exercise, which is conducted every year by NATO and aims to providing all participants with complex and challenging warfare training to enhance their interoperability and proficiency in anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare disciplines while maintaining focus on safety.

        As part of the exercise, Greece is participating with the Frigate HS “AIGAION”, as part of the Standing NATO Maritime Group Two (SNMG-2), Submarine HS “MATROZOS”, a P3-B Maritime Patrol Aircraft, as well as staff officers.

        Naval Forces from France, Germany, USA, UK, Spain, Italy and Canada, along with the SNMG-2, participate in the exercise.
